Why should we know the signs of Imam Mahdi’s (atfs) reappearance?
How can this guide us with our responsibilities?
The signs of the reappearance of the Imam (as) are so important we shouldn't ignore them.
It is required to know these signs before his return.
While we are witnessing the signs, it will help guide us during times of darkness (Fitna) especially with injustice everywhere.
Also, while we recognize the signs, it will show us the right path as we go through difficult tests.
The signs give us hope, while everything else fails to give us that hope.
While the signs provide a solution for what we are facing now and are about to face in the future, the solution is our preparation based on the signs!
When the signs of Imam Mahdi (atfs) provide all of this information we shouldn't consider it as secondary. It is especially important to be familiar with the signs as we get closer to the reappearance of our beloved Imam (atfs).
People could say and feel that as long as we are doing our daily duties of prayers, fasting and Mostahabat (recommended deeds), then we shouldn't worry or prepare for the reappearance, but it is a responsibility on us to establish a relationship with the Imam (as).
When we believe the Imam (as) is in ghaiba (occultation) because there are no
supporters, then how could we build a relationship with the Imam (as) while we are not doing our part for his return?
How could we remain calm while we see that the Imam (atfs) has no support, and the enemy is doing their best to fight the Imam (as)?
The narrations say the enemy won't just be cursing the Imam (as) but doing their best to get rid of him (as).
As a result, the enemy of Ahlulbayt (as) is doing their best to get rid of the Imam (atfs),
shouldn't we be doing our best to be prepared for the Imam (as)?
